Shipping Policy

We deliver to all 50 United States, and most of our products are available to ship to Canada as well. We supply products that are large and heavy, so we go the extra mile to make delivery go as smoothly as possible since our goal is to turn you into a lifelong customer. Most orders ship next business day, and delivery takes only 2 - 4 business days to the majority of our customers.

Where do you ship to?

If your job site or business is located in any of the 50 United States or Canada, we can ship to you! If you live in Alaska, Hawaii or Canada, you'll need to contact us for a shipping quote, since our online shopping cart does not provide shipping rates to your states.

When will my order arrive?

Stock items are available from over 100 different locations to serve our nationwide customer base quickly and cost-effectively. Stock items generally ship within 1 - 2 business days, and transit to most states is just 2 or 3 business days. If you have a time-sensitive project please contact us to verify availability and transit time to your location so we can accommodate your project schedule.

We offer hundreds of custom hardwood flooring that is made-to-order, however, the vast majority of them have industry-leading lead times of only 1 to 2 weeks for production. Again, if you have a time-sensitive project, just ask us for a lead time before ordering so we can accommodate your needs.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Damaged material will be replaced at no cost to you. Do not reject any or all of your order because of shipping damage. Over a decade of experience in shipping hardwood flooring and lumber has taught us many lessons. We require our warehouse staff, and the warehouse staff of our off-site suppliers to follow our very strict instructions when preparing your order for shipment. So we keep shipping damage to a minimum. However, in the rare event that it happens to you, we're going to make it right. Just follow these easy steps:

  1. Call us at 1-800-689-9006 immediately (don't sign any documents until you've called us)
  2. Receive your order. Do not reject any part of your order, not even the damaged part (rejecting any or all of your order significantly slows down the replacement process)
  3. Write the following on the driver's delivery receipt: "Material damaged, subject to inspection"
  4. In conjunction with step 3, do not sign the delivery receipt until you have made a notation of the damage on the receipt.
  5. Email or text us pictures of the damaged material, along with an estimate of the quantity that is damaged.

How will my order be unloaded at my job site?

This will vary depending on what material you purchase, and what equipment our carriers have in your area. We will inform you of the offloading procedure soon after your order is received, so you can prepare in advance for your delivery. If you need to know specific offloading details before ordering, please contact us at 1-800-689-9006 and we'll be happy to give you product-specific information so you are aware of what to expect at delivery.

There are two important steps that apply to every delivery:

  1. Check that the product is correct.
  2. Check that the quantity is correct.
  3. Make note of any shortages on the delivery receipt before signing it, then contact us right away to inform us of any errors.

Return Policy

Our top priority is your satisfaction! If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return within 30 days of delivery, for a refund equal to your order cost, less return shipping costs. In some cases, you will be required to palletize the material for safe transit to the return warehouse. We make this easy for you by providing ratcheting straps and/or stretch wrap at no cost to you.

Returns must be made within 30 days of delivery, and only material in its original packaging in new condition, unused, not installed, unmarked and unopened may be returned.

Our return policy applies to products for sale on www.tongueandgroove.com but excludes Custom Orders, Truckload Orders, special order, clearance products, and blowouts. Any items considered to be accessories, such as flooring transition pieces, adhesives, underlayments, wood finishes, etc are non-returnable.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your order, excluding Custom Orders and Special Orders, prior to shipping. If your order has already shipped, you may still be able to cancel it for a refund, less shipping costs incurred by us from our carrier. Again, Custom Orders and Special Orders may not be canceled.

Legal Disputes

Any and all legal disputes, claims, demands and/or causes of action arising out or relating to the manufacture, distribution, sale, installation, repair or modification of our products shall be contested exclusively in the state or federal court sitting in Pasco County, Florida. You, the customer, gives consent to the jurisdiction of the Florida courts for legal disputes. In any civil actions concerning such legal disputes, You, the customer, agrees to pay the attorneys fees and legal costs TongueAndGroove.com incurs in association with such civil action in the event that the customer, as litigant, loses. The customer also voluntarily and willingly waives a jury trial on such legal disputes. You, the customer, must notify TongueAndGroove.com of any quality issues or defects within 10 days of receipt of goods purchased.

Payment

For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Personal Checks, Company Checks, Certified Checks, and Money Orders. Personal Checks or Company Checks will require 1 - 7 days processing time before your order will ship.

Privacy Policy

We value your privacy and we do not sell your information to anyone. Any personal information you may provide through our website TongueAndGroove.com will be kept private, and only used for the purpose of the purchase transaction for which it was intended.
