One of the most difficult flooring products to find, this Quartersawn Red Oak top nail flooring measures 5/16" thickness and 1 3/4" width. The edges are all milled square, meaning there is NO tongue & groove milling on this flooring, which is why you must install it by nailing it through the face. This top nail oak flooring was once very popular in many parts of the US, and is therefore often needed for repairs and additions to historic homes, schools and other mid-century buildings. This flooring is Made in the USA from solid American Red Oak hardwoods that are quarter sawn to produce a one-of-a-kind grain pattern that is not found in traditionally sawn hardwoods.
